ABOUT ME
My name is Aerissa Roy-Dupuis and I am a Registered Social Worker, Singer-Songwriter, and Content Creator
I often hear clients call themselves "broken" or "burnt out." Those words treat us like things to be fixed or resources that are used up. My practice rejects those frames.
I believe every human has FIRE within, waiting to be lit. It just needs a spark.
I found my own power again approaching my forties. I went from 280 to 240 pounds, stopped drinking and smoking, cut screen time, started writing original songs, performing on stage, posting content on Instagram and Facebook, and now launching this practice.
My conviction is that transformation is possible for all of us.
My role is to help you find the clarity needed to reclaim your pen and write a new story.
My Journey
Started with Indigenous Wellness and Addictions Prevention + Mental Health and Addictions programs at Canadore College
These timeless indigenous teachings still ground and inform everything I do.
Completed Bachelor of Social Work at York University and Master of Social Work at University of Toronto where I led advocacy, leadership, and public speaking on everyday LGBTQ+ challenges.
Professional experience spans case management, shelter support, community mental health, research, constituency work, and healthcare administration
Frontline to leadership, real-world not just theory.
Singer-songwriter, content creator, and motivational speaker
Because music and stories heal too!
I am not a blank slate, I am the totality of my education and lived experience
